PK Convention or Bust

Ok so a few days ago I recieved an event invitation on Facebook. Opening it up it was something that stirred up my curiousity.

I have mixed feelings about this. I think it could be really fun being around my friends in the game and also kind of disasterous with the drama on going and not just with me, I speak on that for anyone who has beef lol. Mostly because like in my 12 Fuck You's of PK, there are people who are so relentless on their dislike for someone they have a tendency to take it to another extreme.

HOWEVER, I was laughing to myself because I was thinking about how everyone would act. Would Morti be backing it up on random people in the lobby? Would Belle karate chop you if you accidently stepped on her brand new kicks? I can picture SPS reciting poetry outloud while the two pendejas sitting in the corner gossiping and throwing popcorn at anyone who crosses their path. Jman would pick pocket people filing inside the ballroom while me and Kaw stop to pose and take pictures.

This is my imagination running wild at the thought of us gathered into a convention center.

LOL I mentioned to Aldoggy I would drag him along as my date and we'd pose in front for paparazzi like this:


If this convention didn't have a metal detector I am going strapped in case some shit pops off. and I want us all to wear these stickers with our screen names filled in. I would need to wear like 10 for all my name changes

UPDATE: a bitch FINALLY got to log in.

I was finally able to log in that night 9 hours later. A friend mentioned that I should've simply uninstalled the game and reloaded it...hrmmm. SO ANYWAY after playing for a few days here is what I think-

*I haven't found the retarded ice bird. I am not sure anyone has. And if they did the feathers are going for 100k in trade chat.

*I only collected one gem so far. It wasn't hard however, I have little patience to hunt for hours on end. So after you hunt and hunt or spend massive amounts of gold on a gem, you need to spend over or close to a million to fuse it to your weapons or armor. This is some bullshit in itself but I guess a lot of players are getting a kick out of a challange.

*If you don't plan on spending that million right away, you can simply craft a tiara or crown. They're ok looking however, everyone and their mother wants to rock one or the other. I am one of them. I also discovered females can wear crowns too. I haven't had the audacity to ask my man to try on my tiara yet.

*Everyone is selling all their capped weapons and anything of value. Why? Because upgrading your shit now costs so much it is just cheaper to upgrade from +0. I think selling all your stuff is stupid only because a lot of players worked so hard to get capped. I would rather just aquire the funds and fuse my weapons that way.

*Skeletons and Liches are ugly as fuck but hella cool. How that works, no idea but let me tell you- my husband chased me around the circle for 10 minutes with his Lich and it reminded me of Tales from the Crypt while I shrieked in horror. You can only have one Lich I read but I have seen an army of Skeletons when visiting another player.

*LAG LAG LAAAAG. It is so intense that I constantly have to sign out and restart app to make it run again. It also sucks waiting 10 minutes for somebody to respond to you because their message hasn't gone through.

I am really looking forward to fusing my weapon and getting a multiple gem tiara and even an crown. I think that is the most interesting thing so far about this update. Other than that...hmmm...yeah that is about it.

Blind Item: Fatal Attraction

Last night there was a strange appearance of someone in chat. He claimed he was a coworker of a well known player. He claimed this player had his account deleted and that he was checking up on PK to see what happened.

Only problem is we know that the "coworker" is indeed this player's second account. On this second account months back, he pretended to be the boyfriend of a young girl who most oftenly spammed chat and showed her fur to all of global (voluntarily and involuntarily I might add. How does that work? Well she sent it to Member A and they passed it on to Member B and they passed to Member C and so forth. However inside sources tell me they received her photos personally in their inbox)

Being that we knew and didn't forget that he was indeed under the second account, we were quick to call bullshit. Well I did actually. Yes I literally called it bullshit in chat. Someone might've threw in he had a personality disorder but that is a different story for another day.

He came into chat today personally under a new screen name and revealed his account was deleted by the young girl. Why did the dipshit give this immature girl his password? I have no clue. But a person can log in to ParallelKingdom.com and request their account to be deleted. Sucks when a scorned lover has you by the balls. Maybe it also sucks that he paid $200 real life cash for the weapons that are now long gone.

Let us pray for these two.

MIA but not forgotten, I miss you My_Belle. I miss your random bursts of laughter when someone says something dumb in chat or even keekeeing at people in PM's.

She makes such an awesome best friend, and always there for me when I need her. She listens to me drone on for hours on the phone when I am bored or in distress. Not only is she my best friend she is like my big sister even though I'm like when she lectures me (lol ILY).

Sheena's Rant: when the fuck can a bitch log in?!

So after my week hiatus, I come back to this bullshit...PK won't load for me. PK won't load for a lot of people. 5 days, 5 hours and 9 minutes later the servers keep timing out on the "Downloading Data" section.

So my inside source tells me that the new update is going to be off the hook. Poisoned weapons, crowns and tiaras and ice feathers and countless other things. The downside is that everything in the PK economy has skyrocketed and trade posts are running low on supplies and the lag has intensified. Not only is lag intense I heard, half of us cannot sign on to play. Times like these make me feel dumb for whipping out my credit card (goes back to my 12 Fuck You's...what the fuck am I paying for?!).

When I finally get to log in, who knows when that is, I hope it's all worth it. Scammers and billionaires are havin a field day I bet.

Silent but Deadly--PK's Quiet Vets

Ever notice some of the people in global are either the following: noobs, vets with very little capped weapons or vets/players with no capped weapons at all.

I salute you quiet vet for secretly lurking (or just turning off all chats lol). Not only is your flag count high, you are either rich in gold and/or carry multiple (or ALL) capped weapons.

I didn't believe that shit...until I married one. Reducing my chat time by roughly 25% I found that I lead a more productive day. All chats turned off I can pull off a couple hundred grand in a day. The only downside to this is I get awfully bored and lonely unless my silent vet is by my side.

I can't say that I am satisfied being a statistic in chat where I only carry a limited amount of capped weapons. Are you? What do you honestly play for?

Blind Item: Rise of a Clan

The past couple of weeks there has been an influx of PK clans and "gangs" (and I use that word loosely here). There is a group that has been growing at an alarming rate in which they are given free scrolls as long as they add the group's initials onto their screen name.

No one really knows what they do or what they stand for but inside sources say they supposedly share resources and hunt in a large group. On the contrary they lost a member recently due to conflict. After refusing to share resources, he left and changed his name continuing aquiring his own materials and resources.

Since the rise of this mysterious group, many anti-coalition and other groups have weasled their way onto Global. Many of these groups have scammed and chopped out of revenge against the clan in which so many people have joined.

After politely declining an invite to join, I can only wonder whats in store for all these clans that have formed recently. In my last article I stated that I disapprove of fake gangbanging on the interwebs, so I kind of sit back and giggle at people taking verbal shots at each other over a tag that ends or begins their screen name. Whatever the outcome is I can only hope all these people can find enough scroll merchants to gain their own identity back.
